BRINGING UP KIDS
Submitted by Angelsvoice on 21 September, 2008 - 16:53.Charity all begins at home. The strongest influences upon a child are the earliest. Some say smacking can help teach children how to behave well while others view this as an assault.
Does it really matter if it’s a single parent or two married parents?

Should Parents Have Friendly Relation with their Children?
Submitted by Naina on 18 September, 2008 - 11:07.Yes parents must have friendly relation with children because friendly parents can solve the problem of their children. Children are very intelligent these days. Children need someone who can really solve their problem with positive suggestion. If parents are friendly children can express their feelings with out hesitation. Children can ask for help to solve their problem.

OVERCOMING ADVERSITY
Submitted by tpolychronis on 14 September, 2008 - 02:42.In 2005 my only son at the time 24 years old developed a rare form of Anaplastic T Cell Lymphoma and had to undergo chemotherapy which failed after 3 weeks. The cancer came back stronger than ever and we were told that he needed a bone marrow transplant to survive. Now the story takes an incredible turn of truly miraculous proporation.

A Child's Guardian is the Father, NOT the mother
Submitted by mddidarulalam on 29 July, 2008 - 16:16.Somebody, like my fellow blogger dhawanbm, initiates a debate as to who should be considered the Guardian of a child - the Father or the Mother.
My answer was the Father, but he (and some others) disagree. I don't know whether they do really believe that or trying to show themselves to be feminists, with some undisclosed intentions..., etc.

Father's sperm determines the sex and birth of a child
Submitted by mddidarulalam on 29 July, 2008 - 11:16.In our society it is commonly found that whenever a woman gives birth to a female child, she is condemned for that. Sometimes she is driven away from the in-law's house due to her alleged non-ability (?) to give birth to a male child.
Now the question is: WHO IS RESPONSIBLE TO DETERMINE THE SEX OF THE CHILD - The FATHER or the MOTHER?

Whose Child this?
Submitted by dhawanbm on 28 July, 2008 - 17:37.It is in the cases of dispute between the husband and wife that the children are made to suffer, for no fault of theirs. Mother by natural default is the best care taker of a child. If a child is handicapped or has some physical disability then also it is the mother who can be the best possible help for the child.

Picnics, Travelling and Foods
Submitted by dhawanbm on 11 July, 2008 - 14:07.Very often we do go in for picnics and outings, as we are rather compelled by the children or we just want to get away from the dull and boring routine which has become more of monotonous. Preparing for picnics is as important as enjoying every moment of the trip. Therefore the food and drinks must be carefully planned beforehand.

Shop Till You Drop
Submitted by dhawanbm on 8 July, 2008 - 14:19.Saturday is the day when there are some relaxing moments, when we find ourselves free from the dull and monotonous routine of work.
Often it is on this day when I and my wife go out for shopping, to pick small very little things for children in market place which is jostling with crowds, thronging the narrow lanes.

Children and Internet
Submitted by dhawanbm on 7 July, 2008 - 14:07.Internet is the in thing. Till about twenty years ago, children studying in the schools and colleges had never heard of the internet, now which has become a sort of rage with many. Most of the school going children love ‘chatting’ on net. They find the activity which I call as useless and waste of time to be very amusing as well as entertaining.
