In 2005 my only son at the time 24 years old developed a rare form of Anaplastic T Cell Lymphoma and had to undergo chemotherapy which failed after 3 weeks. The cancer came back stronger than ever and we were told that he needed a bone marrow transplant to survive. Now the story takes an incredible turn of truly miraculous proporation.

Somebody, like my fellow blogger dhawanbm, initiates a debate as to who should be considered the Guardian of a child - the Father or the Mother.

My answer was the Father, but he (and some others) disagree. I don't know whether they do really believe that or trying to show themselves to be feminists, with some undisclosed intentions..., etc.

Today children are very advanced in all aspects, be it computers or laptops or ultra modern psps or mobiles, you name any gadget they have it all, and surprisingly they have complete knowledge about them. They have tremendous capability to master all the latest equipment and gadgets without much trouble.

It is in the cases of dispute between the husband and wife that the children are made to suffer, for no fault of theirs. Mother by natural default is the best care taker of a child. If a child is handicapped or has some physical disability then also it is the mother who can be the best possible help for the child.

Very often we do go in for picnics and outings, as we are rather compelled by the children or we just want to get away from the dull and boring routine which has become more of monotonous. Preparing for picnics is as important as enjoying every moment of the trip. Therefore the food and drinks must be carefully planned beforehand.

Internet is the in thing. Till about twenty years ago, children studying in the schools and colleges had never heard of the internet, now which has become a sort of rage with many.
