Many people who decide to go into adoption process believe that they are ready to accept any child. When our son was born and it was evident he has Cerebral Palsy, we were automatically sent to rehabilitation, where we learn how to exercise Vojta´s Reflex Therapy. Nobody asked if we agree with it, nobody asked if we understand what happen with our child. I knew that lot of mothers gave up with this exercise, because they could not bear the crying of children.

Today's foreign news in the local daily was of a baby in Texas abused by her father who put her in a microwave oven for 10-20 seconds. Before doing so he had earlier punched the baby and put her in the hotel room safe and refrigerator.

Further to my extract on the newspaper article on 'victim of abuse,' I would like to add a comment.
The victim of abuse in the form of a baby girl has left an indelible mark within me. I feel the pain that the poor helpless body withstood when someone who was supposed to protect her and care for her tortured her in the quise of insanity.
