Echo from a Bygone Time

I woke up this morning from a pleasant dream. It had transported me to the year 1987, when I was a young, school teacher standing in front of a class of giggling school boys and girls. I saw myself with this plump boy Ameer, caught for scribbling his name on the classroom door and he had even dated it! I heard my echo repeated, "Ameer, what is all this? Don't you know it is against the rules?" "I just did it teacher." These words shook me up from my warm bed and here I am typing away whatever I remember of the dream. Could these children be carving their names on school walls just like lovers do on the barks of trees lest they separate and forget each other? This wonderful dream is food for thought though writing on school walls or anywhere on school property is categorised as indiscipline action.
