Being Children

Adults do sometimes become children. When adults become children they leave all cares to the wind. This creates a carefree feeling and unclogs as well as clears one's mind and soul.
I remember sitting with my little grand daughter who was watching Walt Disney's Animation of 'Robin Hood.'
It was a wonderful experience of childhood once more. Robin Hood portrayed by a handsome but shrewd fox and the Sheriff of Nottingham portrayed by a big bad wolf were illustrated well by Disney animators. Lady Kluck, a big, fat hen and the lady in waiting of Maid Marian showed her stunts when she fought the rhinos that were Prince John's guards.
I felt like a child once again sitting beside my grand daughter laughing and enjoying a show which most adults may consider a waste of precious time.
Why should adults spend precious moments gossiping and grumbling over small matters when they could just spend a few hours removing stress by being children? Life is too short to be spent unwisely and wastefully.
I remember that as children, we never took petty problems seriously but as adults petty situations are serious problems that form wedges between relationships. Sometimes adults may have to learn from children on coping with stress.
Childhood innocence is actually the benchmark to assess adult behaviour. All philosophers base their philosophy on the purity of the mind and soul. Who else show this purity if not children?
