Making Excuses
Why are we humans always so fond of making excuses for ourselves? Is making excuses made to justify for own actions; or is it made to escape the punishment that we know will be melt out on us later? Why are we so afraid to own up to our mistakes and keep making the unnecessary excuses to cover up our own actions that we have done? What is so shameful to owning up to our own mistakes. Is it a “face” problem that is preventing us from owning up or is making excuses part and parcel of our human nature? Everyday, we seems to be giving ourselves excuses to drag the things that are needed to do done. Why can’t we just get them done one time and for all and get the things off our mind once and for all? Isn’t it very uncomfortable to have the things that are not done keep lingering in our mind or do we like to have things lingering in our mind so that we have more chances to make excuses for ourselves to have more time delaying doing it?

Right
Making excuses is a human tendency. But it is harmful for us as it does not allow us to improve ourselves.
