I often wonder whether people actually think about what they see, hear and read.
There's a lot is the news now in Trinidad about changing the economy to meet the challenge of rising food prices and the dropping incomes of people, including the country.
The Minister of Whatever is giving talks on increased food production and the radio stations are full of all this agriculture and frugal living talk.
Doesn't anybody remember when others spoke about all that was to come. Said what was said and begged people to listen to reason ?
The situation now was predicted years ago. It just wasn't convenient at the time. It didn't matter at the time.
Now that the mountain has arrived at the feet of Mohammed, as they say, all the talking experts are full of energy talking their piece as if they always knew and are now dealing with what they knew already.
The hypocracy is endless. The Bandwagon overloaded. No one wants to know they were wrong. The world is full of people who are always right.
Ridiculous is not the word.
