My Beautiful Mommy or Absurd Book

Dr. Salhauer explains he found inspiration in his consulting room, where many mothers brought their kids. According to him the bulk of tummy tucks and breast procedures is performed on the mothers and mummy´s plastic surgery affects her children.

Some voices say that this topic is very distasteful. But Dr. Salzhauer claims: "It is for parents who are going through this process to have vehicle to explain it into their kids." So I ask, it is so difficult to say to kids:" Look, I feel fat. I desided for plastic surgery. I will have bandages, but than I will be beautiful." ? I think that this plastic surgeon knows his patients very well. And I bet that it is very difficult for them to talk with their kids at all.

On the other hand, book like "My Beautiful Mommy" can convices children that plastic surgery is such normal part of their life that even child´s book about it exists. Dr. Salzhauer is catching potencial patients.

"Why are you going to look different?" ask girl to her mother in the book. But children in the real life can go further and ask:"Why did Daddy love you when you were ugly?", or: "We will be ugly as you were?"
