Making Crabbacks

Crabbacks ( crab meat seasoned and cooked then stuffed into empty crab shells ) is delicacy here in Trinidad. People make money selling these things here. So I decided to try and make some extra money making them and selling to eateries here in Port of Spain.
What I experienced in trying to get a good recipe was something else.
Everyone lied to me. I asked friends, restaurant owners, housewives, a few socialites and no one was willing to give me a fair chance.
Even the daily newspapers published a false recipe for this.
Eventually, with the help of my sister and my own experimentation, I came up with a workable recipe.
Its indeed a wonderfull delicacy and there is money in it. It was the expanse of lies that I find intolerable.
As it is said - friends are where you find them, not where you think they are.
