Maoists in command in Nepal.

The Nepal’s constituent assembly is a certain dramatic pull out and it is to be seen whether the electoral reforms would be able to restore the peace process in the strife torn poor state of Nepal. Perhaps the Communist Party of the Nepal (Maoist) is leading the poll results and appears to be unstoppable in assuming the high profile democratic seat of power and thus rule the poor nation, thus making it a democratic republic.

It seems much evident that the present interim government led by Mr. Koirala appears to be on the verge of exit and as is certain about the abolition of the monarch rule which is more than two centuries old.

The Maoist chief Pushpa Kamal Dahal has emerged the undisputed leader and has proved to be a real hero in the eyes of the public of Nepal. Perhaps he has revolutionized the democratic process of the nation by sweeping the Nepal polls. He seems to be the power behind the new constitutional set up and redefining the laws of the country.

The people of Nepal are in a jubilant mood and are rejoicing the newly found democratic set up. This is more so because of a free and fair elections which were held more of peacefully. It seems that it would certainly bring a curtain down on Monarchy and the old generation of leaders be bid good bye!
