Reality Problems

When all of a sudden something becomes a problem its a real problem. Maybe it was always there but now its in front of you and you cannot escape. Prices here in Trinidad have now begun to increase with regularity and the latest, because all of them have to do with food, is the cost of lunches. There was a time when you could get a real small box of food i.e. meat, peas, rice or pasta & potatoes, for about TT $ 12.00 - now this is between TT$ 30.00 to TT$ 40.00. For me this is a true problem because I can't afford it. So I've taken to haunting the bakery and now I've discovered there are only a few items there that I'd willingly buy because their prices have risen too. I tried going without lunch and failed. I tried eating only in the morning and then at night and failed. I've got to have lunch. I have no time to cook at home at night for work the next day. The money keeps getting shorter and shorter. As someone who I know helps the disadvantaged and displaced once told me. Welcome to the real world !
