CORRUPTION - A STIGMA

Corruption- a stigma

Time is passing by while
our moral values are coming down,
Immoral are getting high.
People are becoming corrupt day by day,
And don't even hesitate to tell a lie,
Can you tell me why?

Honesty is the best policy has become an outdated quotation in this nation.
What to say about other things,
Even admissions are based upon donation.
Giving and receiving bribes has become a fashion,
While some are quite busy in this passion,
Others even can't manage their ration.

Corrupts get their work done through
currency notes,
Honests even don't find justice from
the courts,
Black money has become an easy source
of votes.

Though patriots felt proud in dying,
Corrupts are yet engaged in spying,
And commission has become a legal term in buying.

Oh, what would be the future of this nation,
Where nobody seems to possess sincerety and dedication.
Money alone has become a source of
meditation.
So for the welfare of India corruption needs
eradication.
