My Dream

I had a dream one night
That the world was without blight
All around there was love and peace
With evil finding no space.

The demon of corruption was dead
And honesty and policy were far spread
Every one was happy and gay
With no one feeling any dismay.

Pollution was nowhere to be seen
It was greenery all around to be seen
Dishonesty and corruption had vanished in air
It seemed that the heaven was very near.

Destruction was nowhere to be seen
To see the mantle, every one was indeed keen.
Peace and serenity prevailed all around
With natures beauty all abound.

Flowers were hummed with beetles and bees
As if they were out to kiss thee
Love was all that was in the air
No being seemed to be spared.

The air was filled with aroma and fragrance
All the gardens and walks had lovely appearance.
The seeds grown had sprouted into lovely plants
‘Earth’s wearing green look’ did every one chant.

Doctors were chilled
To see no one ill
Gay and accord was all around
Disease and sickness were reduced to ground.

Then I woke up from my dream
And nothing of the sort was seen.
Dreams are dreams I thought
And sat on my laptop to write before I drought.
