Invalid Woman Found After 50 Years of Isolation

This is story, thank to which you can consider if it is important to take care about the children with disabilities.
When 84 years old woman from small village in the southern Slovakia died, doctor found another old woman in her house. It was Tereza, 59 years old daughter of dead woman. Nobody knew she exists. Nobody had seen her before. Tereza was born as children with cerebral palsy, which caused she can not move with her legs. Mother didn´t know (or didn´t want?) to help her, so she let her to lie on the bed in the small dark room under the big eiderdown. Girl never went to school, never had any friens, that is why she didn´t speak well. Of course, she was analphabet and she possessed only one night shirt.
After doctor found her, she was placed to the house of social care, where she lives whit other old people. Leaving of her prison was a big shock for her. Tereza changed absolutly. She speaks very well now and she even learn foreign language. Her appearance is her hobby and she found a love. Tenants in the hause like her because of her nice character.
It is unbelievable, this story realy happend in such country. If she get suitable medical care, she could live very nice life. What her mother did is unapologizable. On the other side - what is worse - to leave ill child without help on the bed or to kill him, when it is born, as woman in Austria did?
I think the best is to help him as much as we can and make his life independent.
