Just posted my review on left behind. I returned Da Vinci Code in the library, but I still plan to finish it. It’s my second time reading it, but I still don’t get impressed by it.

Yesterday, I still woke up early, despite of my lack of sleep, in order to get to Auntie Baby’s house early to finish what we’ve started. You know, me and Zia Baby, were making fondant cake for Jaimie’s eighteenth birthday. I took care of baking the other cakes (2 more black forests and cassava cake), while I took turns with Ate Dedeng in washing the dishes and other utensils.

Boy, I was tired as ever. At least, I’ve got a free hands-on seminar in cake decorating, so it’s worth it. And my auntie fondly said and “named” me as her “succesor”. Hmmm, I’ve never thought of that before. Anyway, I don’t like to live a legacy of her in me, because she was so messy in the kitchen. Her kitchen was big and complete with all sorts of condiments, utensils and techie cooking gadgets, but it was so unruly. It has drawers and cabinets and all, but you can’t find anything you need right away because you can’t locate it and nobody remembers where it was.

Anyway, I went back home by four to change into my blue knee length dress. I returned to the party venue to finish the cakes. My relatives showed up, including Jennifer T, with her kids. I was so pissed off with her, and I just don’t know why. There were people who complimented on my cake, and I was so flattered. My aunt told the guests that it was me who baked the black forest, let alone designing it. Yay.

I went home early to do the CD’s.

And today, I woke up around seven in the morning, skipped breakfast and went to school. Nothing much, except that I played chess with some of my classmates. I borrowed the Romanov Prophecy for the library, and I think it’s pretty exciting. I had a quick nap wen I got home before giong to Benedict’s house.
