How to replace a broken tile

Things You’ll Need:
hammer,grout cleaning tool,cold chisel,and a scraper,trowel(depends on size of tile)grout,thinset,pail and a mixing tool
Step 1:
First if you don't have one you can purchase a grout cleaning tool at any home center. These are inexpensive and if you have tile floors this can come in handy in the future

Step 2:
Clean the grout around the entire surrounding tile scraping all of the grout between the tile spaces

Step 3:
Take a hammer and tap the entire tile to be removed. Sometimes if the tile is cracked already you can lift if out quite easily. Other times you may have to work at it with a chisel

Step 4:
Remove all debris and vacuum out area.

Step 5:
Mix a small amount of thin set mortar and install the new tile. spread thinset onto tile area and with a slight turning motion install the tile make sure to use spacers between tiles and remove them before grouting Wait 24 hours and then you can grout the new tile
