Student Commits Suicide in Front of Webcam While Chatting with His Girlfriend

A 21-year-old dental student Karthik has committed suicide before a webcam. The third year student ended his life before a webcam while chatting with his girlfriend.

The third year student was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his hostel room on Friday. The web camera of his computer was still on, focusing on his ceiling fan. Before killing himself, he was chatting online with his girlfriend, apparently his cousin who is in Delhi.

As per the police, the chat lasted around 40 minutes. Deputy Superintendent of Police Abdul Kareem said, ''We cannot reveal the whole thing now. However, during the chat, the boy was continuously hinting about his suicide, saying repeatedly that he would commit suicide. The girl was asking not to do anything of that sort. She said this repeatedly.''
