Mr. Hulot's Vacation...!

The famous French film director Jacues Tati had produced a movie,La Vacance de M.Hulot(Mr. Hulot’s vacation in 1953,which was a comedy film and in which Tati himself played the role of Mr.Hulot!-The protagonist character of that movie.
The storyline of that film was actually missing and it was all about acts proceedings, achievements and lots of comical frames and situations, one after another. For those who always seek a story tag in the cinema, there was a warning tag in the English subtitle at the beginning itself. Which warns audience not to expect story in that movie as vacations are after all vacations and vacation means just joy and enjoy!
By depiction of this movie in the way the director Tati tries to show some of the comedy and comical situations of everyday French life. Watching this movie also brings back memories of two great comedian-Charli Chaplin and Buster Kitten’s trial, errors and consequences. But while playing Mr.Hulot’s role Tati remain totally unconnected like Kitten. It sounds strange, though, that would influence the other serious cinema of that era. But it’s true that movie had had an influence on other movie also-like Nouvelle Vague with its pattern and cracked view point of life!
Although there are many comic scenes in this movie but one particular scene is really appreciable for Indian audience. This is the scene of a Paris Railways station on which passengers were running panic ally between one platform to another, confused by the continuous and in comprehensive announcements!
