The Old saying that"No News is good News" was relevant in those period of time when the letters were written to inform someone about a tragedy or mishaps only !

Till recently getting a telegram was being considered as the probability of illness or death of some near and dear ones!
(Grandpa serious-come soon!!)That time the world wasn't aware about censorship but the time has changed now.People understand and feel the effects of news very well.A seemingly tiny tot news could topple a mighty government!A tidbit,rumour based snippet could change the peace process into big bloody war!

Many bad news such as-storms,rail accidents,rape,riot,bomb blast,air crash,conflict,assassination of a popular leader,plague and epidemic could create a kind of social deafness!Actually those things which people hate to read or hear are generally ignored or avoided.So,news should be written and told in very cool and gentle way instead of hasty and impatience manner(As we see some T.V. news channel and Newspaper do it in regular basis!Here are some examples in this effects...!)

Cleopatra knew effects of news very well.When a messenger from Rome brought a news that her lover Anthenio was married to Octopia she took that impatience messenger to several task.She got his hair shaved,kicked him,got him boiled in lime water and finally killed him in-La shoot the messenger first-style!!

It's true anyway that flow of bad news feebled our sentiments.The ordinary and common reader or audience who is entangled in intricacy of their own day-to-day problems no longer show any interest and tend to ignore these kind of news after some time and age.(My Grandfather used to read Bhagwad Gita instead of News!)

The medium,whatever it is,can't pass it on them,nobody would feel obliged for that.Cleopatra didn't complain why the messenger came so soon to pass that heart breaking news but showed the consequence for that!
