CHAPTER 04

Only You Can Change The World

Now please do not grow impatient. Where there is a will, there is a way. Do you not already know that in this very moment of eternity there is a ray of hope deep within us all? Yes, it is our own deepest inner whisper, the voice of our own inner universal consciousness. Which continuously reminds us that we are capable of envisioning such an ‘incomprehensible’ mega vision. It reminds us that we are capable of making it a reality one of these days.

Fear not, even if the first response that appears on the screen of your mind is a big ‘NO’. Moreover, do not stop midway dreaming objectively. Please continue further. Is it not true that the history of the human race is chock full of information regarding great human accomplishments that were once believed to be impossible to achieve? When we look back into the history of the world, there are many such accounts of the successful materialization of dreams and visions previously believed to be unfathomable.

Do you also hear a deep ‘airy’ whisper of the inner light of intuition within you, which says, “You can change the world provided that first, you choose to be the change that you wish to bring into the world?” Where that miraculous inner whisper is, actually resides within each of us? Does it belong to an artificial existence that is nothing more than our entire lifespan molded into a ‘self-centered, localized, and personified psyche? Does it belong to that false existence, stuffed with endless, undigested, and inter opposing social, scientific, religious, and political beliefs and thought systems? Does it belong to that existence which has caused our clear stream of ‘reason and logic’ to lose its way in the endless paths of the intellectual voids, such voids that are presently driving the human race towards nothing and nowhere? On the other hand, does it awaken us from the very deepest dimension within ourselves, a dimension of which we are still very unaware?

Is it right to listen to this inner whisper, and dare ourselves to envision the ‘One Unified World’? The ‘One Unified World’ that holds endless and multidimensional possibilities for growth, evolution and prosperity for the entire human race? What do you say? Is it right to stand separate from the rest of the human race in order to exhort the envisioning of a ‘One Unified World’? You ask yourself if the timing is right now to advocate such unity in the world. When there are millions who have lost themselves in the meaningless chaos and destruction. And of endless warfare taking place between human beings who are trapped within that self centered, localized, and personified psyche?

What of those people who are still blind to the pain inflicted upon others by way of the endless chaos created through the many inter-opposing political, cultural, and religious divisions of today’s world? Do we not hear the message, whenever we listen attentively to our deepest inner whisper, that we as ordinary simple common human beings are just as capable as the great personalities throughout history of taking the first great step towards that unity we so desire? Then why do we not work together, as if creating a snowball, gradually rolling together our individual dreams until they unify into that one collective vision of the ‘One Unified World’?

Then, we can launch the “snowball” down the hill. As it continues rolling, will it not get larger and larger by virtue of its own momentum? How about a pea-sized ‘snowball of words,’ a rolling ‘avalanche’ of ever increasing demand for the one unified world? Thus, the “snowball effect” can be the mechanism towards which we arrive effortlessly at our ultimate object oriented goal of the ‘One Unified World’. It is this ‘One Unified World’ that the great Tagore, as well as the many great leaders, artists, saints, seers, philosophers, poets, writers, social reformers, scientists, prophets, messiahs and ordinary simple common people have been envisioning deep within themselves throughout time immemorial.

All right, easier said than done. Then how do we actualize such a big vision? Yes, again, it does appear to be quite impossible. Nevertheless, how can anyone truly know what is possible and what is not until one takes an positive action? So, what now, are you just going to stop here, and pass this global vision off as some vague ‘Utopian’ concept? Do you intend to forsake your global responsibilities by hiding behind the illusion that you are incapable of affecting such change? The fusion of the world’s different cultures broadens the horizons of every individual. We can effortlessly get empowered by invoking and self-developing our hidden unlimited potentials and special unique talents by way of keen observation, study, attentiveness, and contemplation in desired field of our interest by making ourselves receptive towards them. This is done by establishing a strong connection with them, and by arranging our everyday conditions so that all their secrets of applications are automatically revealed to us.
