Who Wants to Solve the Problems of Delhi?
Leader come and go but people continue to suffer especially under their rosy promises.
Our leadership actually lack the will to solve problems in a proper way. Politicians and judiciary also lack a harmonious relationship that can result in quick completion of projects in people's favour.
Projects or decisions continue to linger on under the weight of lethargy or unwillingness. Sometimes an uncommon strong will is displayed but mostly it is misguided, thus instead of solving the problem it creates further complications.
Employment:
People are still living in fear of losing their businesses and job under the sword of sealing (law behind it may be anti-constitution and anti-Gandhi, thus it needs to be examined again).
Population:
Population growth of the city is completely unchecked, and it is resulting in multitude of problems.
Cleanliness:
Nobody wants to stick to a cleanliness drive. Half-hearted efforts are rarely successful. In this area too Delhi has become one of the worst managed cities of the world.
Transportation:
After a few more years it will be highly difficult to move in the city even on a two wheeler. People will fear to take out a four-wheeler on the road. Delhi will really become a dreaded city. But leaders are still more interested in political and petty survival games.
Builders are Ruining the City:
Just to make quick bucks builders are ready to break any law or ruin the common man's life in the city. Their lobby is so powerful that it difficult to stop their crushing juggernaut. They are jamming he road, narrowing the streets, creating traffic and parking hazards with impunity.
Corruption:
The big city is badly laden with corruption. Honest citizens suffer while dishonests party every evening. You won't be able to live in peace till you are ready to grease a few palms and cheat the government as well as the country. The ring of corruption is so large and strong that it is almost impossible to uproot it unless there is a combiled and determined efforts from all quarters, which is unlikely to happen. It seems law is there to harrass the innocent and honest citizens.
You can arrest a common man, defame the sanctity of a woman, steal anything, raze a residence of a poor man to ground, seal the livelihoods of people...but you can not touch a builder or a powerful man.
