Don't Marry Me! I Want School.
One day when Sunita came back from the school, she was told by her parents that her marriage has been fixed. She begged of her parents to not to marry her. It was her dream to study and complete her education and be on her own. But sadly her dreams were shattered by this decision of her parents. She knew that it was the end of her freedom and her education.
Parents who were extremely poor and had hardly any means of survival concluded that they could no longer bear her education and upbringing and as she would grow older, they would have to shell out a bigger dowry to get her married. Since they were too worried about her, ever since she had achieved the age of puberty, that they were spending sleepless nights in worry. It was also the fear of any kind of physical attack on her or some kind of assault or molestation that might bring dishonor and disrepute to the family. Then who would marry her.
