A wonder pen developed by Philips

Philips company has developed an interesting gadgets which can record writers emotions. A consumer electronics giant has developed a pen which can reveal writers true emotional state.

This pen works with the help of a sensor detecting physiological factors such as blood pressure, heart beat, fingers pressure on pen, skin temperature etc.

A small actuator installed in the pen, can change the properties of the line it traces out by switching ink and modifying the shape of writing tip.

An inbuilt chip then determines the emotional state by changing its colour and quality of traces.

"Signatures are currently always the same, yet some documents will be signed with enthusiasm, others possibly with hesitation. Having a recording of this could be useful for historical reasons," New Scientist magazine quoted Philips as saying.

If one does not want to express his feelings while writing, there is a switch which can be turned off/on to activate or deactivate the function.
