The Art of Killing Someone without Murder - Fate of Old Parents

Life becomes really strange sometimes. I get a feeling of rage whenever I see young children ignoring their parents. Many not only ignore but also use them as a punching bag to attain selfish pleasures.

Mr. and Mrs. Mehta worked very hard in life and sacrificed what they could to educate their two sons Mr. J and Mr. K.

Mr. J has become a senior officer in a bank and Mr. K is also at a respectable managerial post in a big government company. They have become wealthy and influential.

They always behaved with their parents in such an arrogant way that their father died with a broken heart few years ago. The old man had done everything to give education to their sons and approached every person in his circle to get good jobs for them. He was unable to stand strongly against the disrespect of his own sons and daughters-in-law.

Their mother was a bit stronger mentally and she is still alive - facing their torture and hardships, while fighting with her own age-related diseases.

Both the sons are rich enough and own big flats in posh areas, still they want to snatch away the old parental house from their mother, as well as whatever is left in her bank account, and a portion of her pension amount. The old lady gives them some amount time to time to keep them happy.

She often lives alone in her home which may fall any time. Sons don't want to spend even a single rupee to repair the house.

Instead of helping the mother they curse her, often says poisonous words to hurt her. Due to the behaviour of their sons the old lady is living a miserable life and heading towards a death that may be called 'killing without murder" (by her sons). Once she was also taken to a police station and grilled after the false report from one of her sons.

But the law is silent here. The old lady can not tolerate going to court for years with a frail body and lack of finance. Even if she goes the justice may be delivered after her death.

Moved by her plight I talked to her to help her and teach her sons a lesson. The old lady's heart melted with mercy:

"How can I be hard towards my own children for I whom I sacrificed all in life."

Will justice ever reach to help such parents in their life? Who cares?

Parents must learn a lesson from it

but the problem is that they do not want to learn anything. They either choose to die or weep the whole life over the behaviour given to them by their sons and their wives. They do not dare to throw ways the useless emotion called love for their children and teach their children a lesson by taking away their property from their children and giving to it to a old age home or an orphanage.

They keep blaming their children for the whole life but sorry to say they are to be blamed not their children. The person who tolerates injustice is more wrong than the person who does it. You have written here that you tried to help that old lady but she does not want anybody to take action against her children.

What can be done for such parents? I feel no one can help these parents till they want to help themselves. Here parents need to change their thinking and be ready to teach their children a lesson. Only this is the solution of their problem. If parents start applying this solution soon their children will come back on the right path and parents will be able to live a happy and respectful life.

It brought tears in my eyes. Rejection of old parents is a world-wide problem. It needs to b addressed seriously.

that is very sad that

that is very sad that parents spend their entire life to make their children's life successful...but once they are physically and economically strong they are too weak to take care of their parents....
