Warm Winter

The weather up here in Michigan has finally returned to normal with temperatures in the upper 20‘s. During the last week we have seen temperatures in the mid 50’s which is unheard of in January!
All the ice and snow has melted and we even had a thunderstorm the other day. It’s much more normal to be around zero this time of year. Normally everyone is out ice fishing and running their snowmobiles, but this warm spell has melted all the ice and snow.
Hopefully we will get cold again and the lakes will freeze up so we can get out and do some ice fishing. When you live as far north as I do you look forward to the cold weather and wintertime outdoor activities.

warm winters due to climatic changes

I think there is enough of global warming that we see rising tempratures at one end and snow more than 20 feet high at the other. Here in india we have snow this high in srinagar in gulmarg!
and tempratures as high as 50 degrees cel in Rajasthan. visit my blog for a glimpse of the majestic Rajasthan!
