WELCOME surpasses NO ENTRY

Within a fortnight since its release, Anees Bazmee's WELCOME has surpassed the collections that NO ENTRY accumulated in its entire theatrical run!
While NO ENTRY made close to 48 crores at the box office from India when released in 2005, WELCOME made more than 35 crore from its first week itself and after two weeks stands tall at 57 crores. The way this laugh riot is currently doing at the box office, a 75 crore total is pretty much on the cards, hence turning out to be a blockbuster outing for the film maker and his star cast.
Anees Bazmee is currently working on his next film with Akshay Kumar, SINGH IS KINNG, the shooting of which is more than 70% complete. This Vipul Shah production is getting ready for a 15th August release.
