Natures Teachings!!

When I read one of comment on the criteria of choosing the top ten it reminded me of a story my teacher taught me at my school.
To make things easily understand by us and to give us live examples from life she explained it to us. Just as you see a plant that grows to a tree it will take take time for something to grow and fruit itself. Its not the person who had planted the seed who gets the privilege to have the fruits of the tree either, but that does not stop him from planting the seed and water it to make it a plant and later this plant grows for years and finally gives shelter to birds and food for many.
Just as the tree grows you can see the old leaves fall and new leaves take their place. Ironically she added but there are some leaves that resist falling down. The old leaves think why should I fall for a new leaf to come and take my place? They will try to stick on to the tree for little more and strongly believe that their decision to stay on forever will be granted. But just then a wind blows and the old leaf is carried away with it from the tree and laid on the ground.
These leaves which hesitated to move from their place was compared to those politicians who sat firmly on their seats holding it with both hands never letting a new person take his position. They failed to realize that it’s the natures rule that we have to give way for new ideas and new people to show their talents and accept them too the way they were accepted in their early days. If not the new ideas and people will definitely make their way and this time the old leaves has got to watch them flourish and prosper.
Nobody is here to stay for ever, we all are given a chance. Make the best out of it and make use of your chance and give way for others too who are equally capable as you are. Learn to accept life as it comes that’s what nature teaches us. Lets not be politicians and old leaves here ........
