EVOLVED OR CREATED?
We’ve reached the moon, we know HOW and WHY of almost everything but are yet not clear about our own creation or evolution.
I believe - there are two types of people in this world - one who believe that god is the creator and the second who believe in the Darwin’s theory of evolution.
When talking of evolution, everyone is familiar with Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution:
“The affinities of all the beings of the same class have sometimes been represented by a great tree. I believe this simile largely speaks the truth. The green and budding twigs may represent existing species; and those produced during each former year may represent the long succession of extinct species……The limbs divided into great branches, and these into lesser and lesser branches, were themselves once, when the tree was small, budding twigs; and this connexion of the former and present buds by ramifying branches may well represent the classification of all extinct and living species in groups subordinate to groups….From the first growth of the tree, many a limb and branch has decayed and dropped of, and these lost branches of various sizes may represent those whole orders, families, and genera which have now no living representatives, and which are known to us only from having been found in fossil state….As buds give rise by growth to fresh buds, and these, if vigorous, branch out and overtop on all a feebler branch, so by generation I believe it has been with the Tree of Life, which fills with its dead and broken branches the crust of the earth, and covers the surface with its ever branching and beautiful ramifications.”

There are no other significant theories on evolution or rather existence; only non scientific explanations that require a miraculous force, that of a creator……..
While in the Bible, God has been referred to as the creator of the world at many places. According to the holy book; God is the creator of light, water, sky, dry land and vegetation, birds and sea creatures, animals and man and the heavens too.
Created or evolved? Whatever is the cause of our existence; I feel we should be thankful for our good fortune to have come into being and we should not forget our great responsibility to ensure the perseverance of this unique planet of ours...…

We should do our 'Dharma'
of living in love and cooperation. Only then we can feel satisfied while going away from this world. So whatever you feel whether evolved or created is ok.

I personally think universe was created and latter changes occured so we have two parts -created and which evolved by it.

If only Mandel and Darwin worked together,
the story on evolution would have taken a turn for the better or worse? Mandel may have found the missing link, who knows with his peas and the birds and the bees! Whether its creation or evolution the fact remains that a supreme being had to be present to create even that minuscule atom from whence all living forms may have evolved, even if you support the evolution theory. So let us believe we are part of that big bang and the star dust adding glory and fury to this place called earth.
