Simple And Effective Ways To Control Anger

For most of us we have all suffered from a inability to control anger at some stage of our life.
However constantly not being able to control anger and the subsequent aggressive acts spurred by it may prove life threatening physically and emotionally not just to you but also to friends and family.
You are putting yourself at great health risk, which could lead to high blood pressure, heart attack or stroke.
Below are just a few ways anyone can follow to help control anger:
• A slow count from 1-10 combined with a slow breathing exercise (where you take long deep breaths can help calm and relax) is a useful technique.
• Sometime our surroundings can anger us - take regular breaks and try to change your environment. A few moments in peace and quite can really make difference.
• Exercising can be a great way of taking out the irritation of not able to control anger. Regular exercise whether its running, swimming or in the gym can be a great stress comfort. Yoga has known to help a lot people and, also even a boxing bag can do wonders alleviate frustration and anger.
• Try to imagine the consequences you losing control. Do I want to be embarrassed and humiliated in front of my family, friends or colleagues? Do you really want to hurt those around us either physically or emotionally? Try to Imagine this scenario as soon as when you see or feel the early signs of anger.
• Reward yourself - Whenever you to been able to contain your anger from your family and friends etc, do something rewarding and treat yourself. Go watch a movie, go to expensive restaurant, and buy a gift for yourself. You managed to control your anger - you deserve it.
• If you find yourself regularly suffering from road rage - try changing your route. Try traveling a different route, something that is less congested and perhaps more scenic.
