Jab We Met - Musical Movie of the Year 2007

With a strange name this movie created little interest in people when it was released with a very simple star cast. People did not flock to the theatres to watch it.

As a result this movie had a slow start. But it created a thunder afterwards when everybody liked it, and praised it. With a word of mouth the movie became a big hit.

And Shahid Kapoor and Karina Kapoor suddenly got in demand.

Surprisingly after some weeks the movie even left Om Shanti Om (very boring indeed) behind in per print average box ofice collection. With small budget and almost no publicity expenses the movied became a gold mine for the producer.

Big budgeted and with top star cast Om Shanti Om might have earned more due to 20 crore publicity budget but it will not get as much profit for the producer as a simple movie Jab We Met.

Jab We Met is a simple love story with fun and heart-touching music. It is good family movie and you should not miss it if you have not watched it.

This movie can be watched several times without getting bore. While Om Shanti Om is a bitter pill to swallow even first time.
