Traditional Remedies For A Glowing Skin

Every winter we are faced with a common problem that is skin care. As the dry and chilling winds have an assault on your skin, you should be fully prepared with your traditional remedies or with your bottles full of moisturizers and tubes of cold creams to battle the elements of harshness of bitter cold, the choice is yours!
As a matter of fact chill takes away the moisture and nourishment of your skin and your skin no more glows. Important is to nourish and garnish the skin with something very nourishing and vitalizing so as to give back a youthful and healthy skin. Creams and lotions may tend to dry out skin rather than keep it moisturized and soft.

In older times skin care was an issue not to be ignored be it summers or winters. The traditional remedies were always available in the very household so that a woman need not go out in search of skin care remedy.

The very first thing is say no to warm water baths as it does more harm than benefit. A bath should be preferably taken in Luke warm water and followed by an application of coconut oil within three minutes of the bath. It should be applied all over the body before it dries out. I assure you it would do wonders.

Since ages unknown Mother Nature has been giving us a lot of natural herbal remedies which also prove to be antidote. Massage with natural oils like coconut or mustard or olive oil ensure that the skin is always glowing and take ample sun bath which ensures supple dose of vitamin D.

Toilet soaps make skin lose its moisture, thus it is very important to replenish the loss. A paste of Besan powder and the all purpose turmeric is made and apply it all over the body so as to give a soothing effect and to keep it alive, free from wrinkling or drying out.

It is definitely free from any synthetic element which may be harmful.
A visit to parlor is recommended for a face massage to evade pollution and dirt and bring out new skin cells of epidermis which needs to be constantly peeled out. And lastly not to forget, do drink lots of water to hydrate your skin.
