Birbal in Sealing Trouble
MR. JOURNALIST: Hai Birbal! Where are you running?
BIRBAL: My father's shop is being sealed. The old man may be in trouble.
MR. JOURNALIST: You are a powerful man. How can it be?
BIRBAL: Everybody is equal in the eyes of the law. And our Badshah (king) dislikes favouritism.
MR. JOURNALIST: But you need not worry. You are a rich man. You can help your father to buy a shop in the commercial complex being built by the richest men of our city.
BIRBAL: My father doesn't take anybody's help. He loves to be self-reliant. He is very old but still runs a small shop from his house in a poor area.
MR. JOURNALIST: Why is the administration snatching the livelihoods of the poor?
BIRBAL: They think most of the criminals come from the poor colonies. If you snatch the livelihoods of the people there they will run away from the city. The city will be safer and better.
MR. JOURNALIST: Is it the only reason?
BIRBAL: The second reason is that the richest persons of the city are making big shopping complexes and they want small shops and trading units to get closed. They are powerful so they can use influence.
MR. JOURNALIST. But it violates the rights and the freedom of the poor people who are honest and law-abiding. After losing employment they will become thieves and beggars. It will help the criminals and the enemies of the state.
BIRBAL: Whatever the reason may be I don't interfere in the proceedings of law.
MR. JOURNALIST: We have reached. (surprisingly...) But instead of your father city police chief is sitting on his seat.
BIRBAL: (to his father) Are you fine father?
FATHER: Our Badshah is a kind man. He has ordered city police chief to sit in my shop for six months. Two other law-machinery chiefs have been ordered to run small trading units in the colony of the poor. They also have been ordered to leave their plush residences and live in the colonies of the poor in small houses.
MR. JOURNALIST: It is a strange decision. It is injustice to the big personalities.
BIRBAL: Our Badshah is great. He thinks if these big persons also live among the poor for some time it will help them to take better decisions. Once he said to me: It is the dharma (duty) of the police and the law to punish the criminals and the corrupt, and save the lives and livelihoods of the poor and the innocents.
(This satire is based on the incidents of the year 2006 when Delhi government, Delhi police, MCD, and honourable Supreme Court joined hands to seal the fate of millions of innocent persons in Delhi by closing their means of livelihoods - punishing the victims and their familities instead of the culprits: the corrupt in politics, MCD, Delhi Development Authority, and the government. Even the media did not show the picture of dark realities to the court in a right perspective).

Its very sad Oshon,
that our govt is not as good as Akbar, the powerful people are enjoying the comforts given to them by govt and are flourishing under the 'chatrachhaya' of this unjustified ruling.
Yes Vaishali, not only the government
but even the law is compelled to side with the powerful. Who is taking action against the big builders?
