The police are for your protection of life and property.It is your right to get a better deal from them.What can you do when you've to visit a police station ,regarding any case...Just check it out !
1.The police can't refuse to entertain a complain.An aggrieved person as a matter of his right ,can lodge complaints-in writing,orally,or post.
2.Any complainants have a right to get a copy of FIR soon after it has been lodged.
3.The police can't force any to provide money or vehicles for conducting inquiry or prob.The police even can't force complaint to enter a compromise with the other party.
4.The victims've the right to know about the progress of their case.
5.Any arrested person has a right to make a phone call to a person of his choice.In other hand a woman can't be arrested,frisked or checked by male officer.women officer presence is mandatory.
6.And finally ,the recovery of stolen goods,should be done after legally obtaining the court order.
