Who Doesn't Wants to Go...CANNES ?!

People who re really interested in world cinema,know the position and s tutus of French Movies and its History.And Cannes where an important film festival take place every year.
Bagging or winning any award or prize at Cannes is considered to be a big achievement .Awarded film director and other associates could get famous,overnight.Not only awards,prizes and surprises just being choose n to showcase or just being hinted to showcase your entry is a honour in itself.So,who doesn't want to exhibit their recent creation at this platform?can't say.!
But despite Cannes as their own film festival-French film makers-Good,Genius and talented-show utter reluctance to participate.
Anyway,It's very difficult to say whether it's due to mere a festival held in French or it is just a reputation of French film makers?.
