Hit at the Teens - Favourite Passtime of Adults
I am still a teenager and my biggest grievance is that people love to hit the teenagers every time. There is rarely anybody who understands them.
In India it is psychology of the people to look at teenagers with suspicion. They think teenagers of modern day are crazy. They don't listen to parents or elders. They avoid studies and want just fun. They have boy friends or girl friends. They just want to move around with friends, cruise on bikes. They create problem for parents and others. They are selfish and don't want to understand the problems of their parents or other people in the society. They are fully drowned in western culture, western music or trends. If the society is going to hell it is because of today's devil teenagers.
It is rubbish. I have to feel embarrassment at many places with the strange look of people. My friends also complain about it. We are also human beings.
We have feelings too. We have our own problems. Who is moving forward to realize them. If parents and people have weaknesses they make the teenagers a scapegoat. It is not fair friends. We are also humans. We may be having weaknesses like all of elders.
And see how hard we have to work. We have to fulfill the expectations of parents and score good marks in all subject. We are expected to be in top three otherwise we are criticised. People in the society want to see us model of good character. Instead of guiding us everybody wants to throw frustration or anger on us.
To save us from high tension if we have some fun everybody turns against us. It is time our society must understand high pressure of modern education and competition on the teenagers. Don't make teenagers act like machines. They can't.

we have a plenty of expectations to fulfil and a lot of pressure to handle so our elders must make an effort to understand us!

If it seems that teenagers are arrogant and spoilt
it is the faults of their elders in family and in society. They need a better personality development atmosphere in schools and in the society..
