If you thought that you had seen all the ‘Filmy’ stuff that the TV has to offer, you are in for a big surprise. The new reality show ‘Bollywood ka Boss’, launched by the channel Filmy, promises to be the boss of all ‘FILMY Battles’. It is being launched on the channel from the 6th January, 2008 and will be telecast every Sunday, from 9 pm onwards. The Show

All those people who declare themselves to be die-hard fans of Bollywood have now got a chance to prove the same and the medium to do so will be none other than the show - Bollywood ka Boss. The reality show will start with 10 Bollywood enthusiasts, who will compete with each other in a 33-week long battle and try to outdo the other through their filmy gyaan. At the end of the 33 weeks, one amongst the participants will be declared the winner and will get the title of ‘Filmiyon ka Filmy’!

The Prize and The Host
Add to this, the 50 lakh rupees that will be given to him/her as the prize money and you know why the show is bound to be popular. There is yet another surprise in store for you - the show will be hosted by none other than Boman Irani, the man who can make you laugh at the silliest of jokes. With him as the host, you can be sure that audience will be laughing all through the show. His filmy gyaan will keep the contestants on their toes, while his excellent comic timing will have you in splits!

Bollywood ka Boss is the brainchild of Synergy Adlabs Media Limited. And, no, it has not been inspired from any English show and is completely desi - totally conceived and planned by the media house. Developed under the guidance of the great Siddhartha Basu, the father of television quizzing in India with shows like KBC and Mastermind India to his credit, the show is definitely going to be one of the biggest entertainers of 2008.
