Holidays Romance

Holidays are the most wonderful period of our lives that we would not forget easily. It is the school boys and girls who would like that the holidays homeworks not be given for the holidays are meant to be full of fun and frolic, but certainly often they are plagued by loads of lessons to be learnt and some written work to be done legibly. Perhaps holidays deserve to be days full of rest, recreation and a change of occupation which are a necessity.

As the old parable says: “All work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy.” I would recommend some kind of constructive work to be done. Therefore holidays should be interspersed with some kind of mental work and some practical work indeed. A short holiday would definitely send us back to our places of work with a new vigor and vitality and of course a renewed zeal.

One such holiday I had with my family which brings back the happy memories of the time spent in the lap of nature. Indeed it was the best time ever spent, being one of the best I’ve lived so far. We had an expedition to Rohatang valley pass in the high mountains of Himalayas. The vale was lovely and full of natural surroundings and cedar wood trees all around. The river beas was flowing calmly as ever. River rafting was a fun for us. The visit to the whispering wood certainly filled the kids with a new spirit. They were simply enchanted and were awestruck at the works of nature.

The holiday was perhaps best used and at the end of it we all returned back to our work with energies renewed and a better and keener interest in our works than ever. The thrill of the mountain still lingers on the inner minds. The pure air, the lovely environment and plenty of refreshing sleep who can forget? It only made our holidays healthier and much more enjoyable.
