The legend of 20th Century...Muhammad Ali Jinnah (Quaid-e-Azam)
Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is our most prized possession. If by some quirk of destiny nations were to lose their Shakespeare, Bismarck, Garibaldi, Napoleon and Jefferson, they would still have much left to pride themselves on.
But if we lose the Quaid-e-Azam what will remain? We should ponder this question. The Quaid left behind a comprehensive blueprint for our guidance.
There was not a subject of National importance he did not touch on. Issues like constitutional amendments, good governess, Public Accountability, revival of democracy are being hotly debated these days.
Why Quarrel over them?
Why not turn to the Quaid and recall what he said on these issues.
The Quaid was, indeed, a great man. He altered the course of history, modified the map of world and created a nation state.
He was a legend even in his life-time.
