India is a country of fools

Our country India, where different types of cultures, languages and people of different religions exist. B’coz of these things we are famous in the world. Infact we, “the biggest democracy in the world”, are only famous b’coz of these things. We never had anything special for being famous. But in today’s modern India I have heard many people saying that Indian youth is very talented. And our youth will help India become a super power.
But the biggest hurdle in our country’s progress has been for thousands years is superstition in which most of the country has a firm belief. What amazed me is, in today’s modern world the followers of superstition haven’t decreased. And b’coz of this superstition we will never be able to become the superpower of this world. I tell you why? Here are some examples for you:

1. Recently due to high water pollution in Mumbai the sea water got sweet but our people thought otherwise. They thought that due to the closeness of Pir Baba’s Dargah from the sea, the water got sweet. People told that their lord was happy with them that day. That’s why he made water sweet for them. People drank that water and filled the water in their water bottles. When that water was tested, it was found that the water was very polluted and it could create many dangerous diseases. But there were no affect on our superstitious people.
2. Few years ago suddenly people started feeding milk to Lord Ganesha. They thought that Lord Ganesha was drinking milk. I ask, was there any need for Lord Ganesha to drink the milk of that country where millions of poor children die of hunger.
3. In past time, Women were compelled to burn with their husband dead body. You can also say it “Sati Pratha”, it is still here in our villages. I will call it the biggest sin committed by our religious people.
4. Still most of the people here pass their lives by exorcist’s orders. They even sacrifice their children, thinking that miracle will happen and they will become wealthy by following exorcist’s instructions. I ask, why don’t these exorcist kill the enemies of our country by using black magic? Why don’t they finish the corruption from our country?

There are lots of examples of superstition and it still has a control on most of our country men. We are just waiting our precious time and money in it. We are also destroying our talent by believing it. Until we overcome this bluddy superstition, we won’t be able to become the superpower of this world. Even if we have most talented young generation in the world .
