Poem of love and power

She had dark complexion but bright mind,

They say she had a heart that was weak but large,

She loved a man who had mind full of man's ego,

She did well and become woman of elite IAS,

The man could not do much become a teacher,

When the question of their uniting arrived,

This distance made everyone wise,

Man said he will marry provided she left IAS,

She weighed power and love,

Found Love greater than power and left IAS,

They united in presence of man of power and heart,

Some said she made a sacrifice,

Others said she made a mistake for life,

When both met on the first night,

Smile blooming on both their faces,

One that is her smile of love,

Other that is his smile of winning and ego.
