The amazing power of positive thinking

Lance Armstrong won the world championship of bicycle racing held in France in 1995 at the age of 25. Unfortunately he found out that he had cancer in the year 1996.The worse news was that it was testicular cancer. Imagine how he would have felt when he knew it would be painful to ride the bicycle. He even coughed up blood a few times.

Nevertheless, he never gave up. His positive thinking was amazing. He underwent chemotherapy and surgery. He had his other treatments and continued his practices as usual. Believe me friends; he went on to win the championship consecutively for the second time in a row. He took 23 days and covered more than 2000 miles to win the race. He is really a true champion, is it not?

She is a woman from Kerala. She was shocked when she knew her husband was diagnosed with aids. Therefore, the doctors tested her and their girl baby for HIV .She was found positive though fortunately the baby did not carry the dreadful virus. Her husband died very soon.

She has also developed aids and all her friends and relatives deserted her with the fear of aids. She was left alone in this horrible world with her lovely baby. She could not think of leaving her baby alone in this ungrateful world. She started to think she would live and death could never come near her. Her positive thinking helped her to live a normal life afterwards. Amazingly, her WBC counts did not drop from the normal levels.

That is the amazing power of positive thinking. If we remember these great people, we will never feel low in our spirits when we face problems in life. Am I right?
