Everyone wishes to be loved by someone but it is hardly possible these days as people are unable to grasp the true meaning of love. Today love is based on materialistic and physical gains. Till the materialistic and physical needs are fulfilled two persons keep showing love. As soon as there is blockage in the supply of these two they start thinking about the better option and are ready to get separated.
Being able to get something from the person whom you love is the definition of love for people. Is this definition right?

Definitely. God gives one chance to every one to get true love but the responsibility to recognize it is on the shoulder of the seeker of true love. the true love is only with the parents on their kids
The true love without any sort of expectations is present only with the parents on their kids.All other loves will disappear when fulfillment of the physical and materialistic needs becomes less as you rightly said.It is very very difficult to find a real love as such now.

TRue love exists in many ways and many forms. I would like to disagree with you stating that parents love is the truest sacrificial love. There are many sacrificial love in this world we just dont see it everyday. lets not forget BHishmacharya, wo sacrificed his life n lot many things for his father's desire to marry a beautiful damsel.
