ARE WE PLAYING WITH GOD?

Genetically modified food is one of the most controversial topic.

Nowadays our Technology has reached to such heights that scientist even trying to make organism that is genetically identical to the unit or individual from which it was derived known as Clones. People created fuss for this technology. But when the question of Genetically modified Food comes, it affects everyone.
Our body has a typical mechanism for digestion of food products. Some enzymes are present which are responsible for oxidation and reduction reaction. Food we eat is breakdown by different enzymes and our body is well adapted to that kind of mechanism. So from where the question of GENETICALLY MODIFIED FOOD comes.
I agree Genetically Modified Food can improve the taste, texture or appearance and may be improve the nutritional quality of food. Nowadays we see that many fruits and vegetables are available without season. But, see this is all nature , we cannot alter it. Food which is meant for particular season have particular effect on our body system.
After seeing all this , one question arises in my mind.

ARE WE PLAYNG WITH GOD?

We are doing something that is forbidden by God. I agree to the point that Scientist are meant to do experiments and we should grow, dig new things, but if we do not know enough about the affects it will have on the highly complex ecological system ,in crop agriculture. So is it a misuse of human capacities and responsibilities?

We are living in a Democratic community. Everyone has right to speak, share their views and opinion. I think Genetic Department should consider the public views.
