Tecumseh's curse - Will it strike again?

Tecumseh was an Indian chief in the US. He was defeated by the forces of William Henry Harrison, president of the US, in 1811. Harrison became the president in 1840 and died soon after in April 1841, the first presidential death in a long line of what popularly came to be called as Tecumseh's curse (aka Curse of Tippecanoe, zero-year curse, presidential curse, twenty-year curse.) Every twenty years after 1840 presidential election, the president is doomed to die in office.
1860: Lincoln was elected president and was assasinated in 1865.
1880: James Garfield was elected president and was shot to his death in 1881.
1900: William McKinley was elected and was assassinated in 1901.
1920: Warren Harding was elected president and died of stroke or heart attack in 1923.
1940: Franklin Roosevelt was elected and died of cerebral haemorrhage in 1945.
1960: JFK was elected president and was assassinated in 1963.
1980: Ronald Reagan was elected president and survived an assassination attempt months after his election. Many consider this to be the break in the curse.
2000: George Bush Jr elected president of US and ... will the curse come back to haunt him or will he survive??
