Two heart transplants in a boy!!

Medicine never ceases to amaze me. Imaging this for once. A boy in the UK was transplanted with a heart after he was diagnosed with congenital heart disease. Within days after the first transplant he had a massive heart attack and doctors massaged his transplanted heart for over 105 minutes and then put him on a heart-lung machine waiting for a new heart.
Within few weeks another suitable heart was found and the boy was operated again to have the heart fixed. The boy's parents had given up hopes as doctors had told them that they have to take it one hour at a time and the boy's survival is a plain miracle for them.
Those who need a heart for transplant are lucky to get one and to get two is highly unlikely and the boy sure is lucky. The transplants were done in Freeman Hospital, Newcastle, UK.
