Do we need frequent advertisements?

Advertisement means dissemination of sales information. Making an advertisement once by any means does not guarantee that it has received the attention of the audience. Twice or thrice may help in good distribution. Don’t you think frequent advertising make an impact on the market demand?

REPEAT STRIKING THE DRUM!

Striking the drum once may be heard. Continuous drum beating or drum rolling may receive the attention of the passengers on the street. It receives the attention of the people who can hear and see the street players.

The players organize a simple gymnastic and circus show on the street with rope tied on the bamboos and with some iron rings. They run and jump, twist and bend and slide into the iron rings. They walk on the rope tied over the sky.

During all these plays, they make hell of noise and continue beating the drum. Continuous drum rolling and making oral sound brings more customers; retain their interest for a long time. They get a good collection of money too. So, we find the advertisement by sound is not a single time affair. It must go along with the process of selling.

JINGLES REPEATED IN FM!

Likewise, we can hear advertisement jingles are repeated a number of times in FM radio so that they are registered in the minds of the audience. Only repetition of advertising strengthens the power of selling and marketing process.

Frequent visit of sales persons to a retail outlet, distribution of pamphlets a few more times with news papers, repeated announcements in the loud speakers of a railway station, publication of an advertisement a number of times in local news papers yield good response. Only we need to know that the expenses in the advertising are worth in bringing more customers.

EXCESS IS NOT ENOUGH!

It is a well known fact that “excess is not enough” in the matter of advertising! Te frequent advertising gives a good impact when the message and the music of the jingle is nice to hear and effective in making the consumer move towards our business counter.

We know that ‘only the rolling stone collects mass’ by repeated performance. Further they say that even ‘a rock is getting worn out by the moving rows of ants’. Repeated application of any action is capable of giving good strength.

REPEAT WISE SLOGANS!

Dissemination of information in any media supports the product or service distribution to the extent they are advertised with wise slogans. More advertisements make the human mind to retain the message in the ads.

FREQUENT APPEARANCE OF ADS!

Further, the ad message appeared in a daily on a single day may not guarantee that it receives attention of all the readers. It normally escapes the notice of the readers. Hence, reappearance of the ad gives one more chance to reach the reader.

However, consumer products need frequent appearance to reach more people more times. This gives great impact and works out to become number one brand in course of time.

PRIME TIME ALSO!

In radio and TV ads too “frequency and prime time” are important factors besides the commercial value of the episode in which the ad appears.

Quality advertisement needs more frequency to make the business venture a great success.
