"Do you want to divorce your spouse ?" (Part I)

There is a general saying,'Be a Roman,in Rome" Therfore, one is requested to acclimatise yourself as an Indian,at least for the timebeing for a few minutes, before peeping into this article.

Well,we all get married and tie up nuptial knot and enter the marital status, irrespective of our social, economic and cultural status and no way one is destined to get married in one's life as time, background, circumstances permit and also depending upon the individual mental predilictions.But the trouble actually brews when one gets married.

We can divide the people who are getting married into three categories,lower, middle and upper and each category has its own post-marital problems.As far as the lower, poor and downtrodden class are concerned, the marriage is a simple affair.Either they get marry at home or in the temple or church,in the presence of friends and limited number of invitees, without much fus and ado, without involving even a single sign of extravaganza.On the other hand their marriage is as simple as possible, less expensive, very short and brief.The people who get married in the low income group or downtrodden are mostly illiterate and uneducated.The most interesting aspect of their marriage is that the newly married couple get settled very soon and there is no any sort of difficulty in getting started and understanding each other, because of the absence of any ego, alterego, involvement of prestige, social status and economic status etc.The newly married couple being humble and poor, get settled in their marital life very soon, say in a very few days.Suppose both of them labourers.From the third day,of their marriage, both of them,either go for work or indulge in any other work,they are used to.Hence,there is no time at all for the creation of any post-marital problem, since their needs, sources, wishes,etc are only a few and far between.Similarly,if for any reasons the marriage is broken down, say the bride ellops with another or the bridegroom getting married another,without cancelling the earlier marriage,they carry on as it is without much bothering about the legal aspects involved.They also do not bother much about for what they have done.Normally the breakdown of marriages among the downtrodden happen just like that unmindful of their social and legal consequenses.
