How to create interest of children in studies?

Children do not want to study - they are irresponsible - they are lazy - they are naughty. These are some common lines you will find parents as well as teachers speaking. Both teachers and parents are always ready to blame criticise, and punish children for not taking interest in studies. Children are held responsible for spoiling their own future.

In fact neither teachers nor parents are able to understand that the problem is not in the children but in themselves. Both of them are unable to teach and guide children properly. Both of them keep themselves busy in teaching them but they do not know the art of teaching. They make children rote the things which is a very boring experience for them. Even elders do not like to indulge themselves in boring works how can they expect fun loving children to do so?

So next time before complaining about the disinterest of children in studies do think and see how you are teaching them. If you teach them in a out-dated method and do not teach them with play way methods they will keep showing their disinterest in studies. Instead of blaming invent new methods to teach or handle them.
