Art of Living

Cycle of Nature

Life is full of wonderful gifts,

That nature has given in plenty.

Trees and springs, flowers and butterflies,

All a part of natures gifts.

Summer brings dry winds and heat.

But it is the time for ice cream and cold drinks.

We stay indoors for most of the day,

And the evenings echo with children’s scream.

Rains come after the hot summer,

They bring pleasure and comfort to all

Out come bright umbrellas and raincoats,

with the pleasant pitter patter of raindrops.

As the rains fade away gently,

Old man winter comes along.

It’s time to get thick sweaters and caps,

To take care of the strong cold winds.

Then comes the season of new beginnings,

Spring. the messenger of hope arrives.

Flowers and trees get a new life,

And that brings joy in our lives.

And so carries on the cycle of nature,

Rains after Summer, spring after Winter.

They echo the stages of our lives,

Isn’t it the most wonderful things?

Very well written,actually every season is enjoyable provided you have means to face them. Rich people don't have any problems with any season,they enjoy cold winters in Kambals and Rajaais, but when we see a poor old man on the roadside covering himself with anything he gets to cover his body,don't u feel why God has made these extremes in nature.
