Tips for Planning Your Disney Vacation

So many people enjoy not only the vacation itself, but the act of planning. So many others would prefer the planning process be done by someone else. Here is a list of ways you can make planning your next Disney vacation much easier:

* Decide whether or not you will plan on your own or use a travel agent. If you want to use a travel agent, will you use someone local or will you call the Disney Vacation Planning Service.

* Decide WHEN you're going to take the trip. Remember, certain times of the year are MUCH more crowded than others.

* After you've decided on the dates for your trip, make travel arrangements and hotel reservations.

* Get a map of the parks and a schedule of times they open. Plan to visit popular attractions early in the day to avoid long lines when the parks are crowded later on.

* Make restaurant reservations in advance instad of waiting until you arrive at the parks. Popular restaurants book to capacity months in advance. Call early to ensure your seats!

* Keep your budget and family in mind at all times. For example, if you have young children, planning a fancy meal is not as important as making sure they meet the Disney characters.
