Bangladesh hit by Cyclone at least 1,100 dead

Bangladesh a poor nation of a 150 million people has been hit by a Cyclone that has killed at least 1,100 people. Coast areas are in utter devastation and millions are without power. The threat of disease is increasing by the hour as people are forced to drink contaminated water.
I remember Hurricane Katrina and the destruction and suffering it left on the people of New Orleans and the costal areas on Mississippi. I hope president Bush will step up and lead by example and donate sufficient funds too help the people of Bangladesh get back on their feet.
Whenever a Natural disaster of this size occurs it’s always the poor and the children of the poor who suffer the most. Please help by donating to the Red Cross.

The seeder hurts Bangladesh on November 15, 2007 and massacre few districts with more than 1000 died and thousands of people injured and huge economical loss has made by this cyclone. But friend donation for an individual is not sufficient for those type of diseaster, it should require institutional donation.

I think the rich nations should work on solutions to overcoming natural disasters in poorer countries. Bangladesh is often hit by floods too.

Since I wrote this post their have been two other great tragedies...The cyclone that hit Mani mar and the Earthquake in China....My heart goes out too all those hurt especially the children....
